Permission to Reproduce Previously Published Figures or Copyrighted Materials

It is the submitting authors’ responsibility to obtain the formal written permission of the original copyright holders if they choose to include copyrighted materials in the manuscripts. The Editorial Office requests that copies of written permission to reproduce materials, such as figure(s), from the copyright holder(s) be submitted for verification, and all costs and handling fees incurred as a result of obtaining said permission will be borne by the submitting authors.

 

In addition, authors should indicate relevant citations and/or permission information in the text where the material is presented (e.g., in the figure caption for copyrighted figure displayed). Here’s an example of how such information should be assembled:
