Supports Open Access

As we are a hybrid journal now (since January 2025), we give the author(s) the option of publishing their article as Open Access or publishing via the traditional method.

Option 1: Open Access. The author(s) (or their institution) publish their article(s) as Open Access material by paying the Article Processing Charge (APC) (which is zero at this stage) to retain copyright. Under this circumstance, publications will be released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits the greatest amount of distribution and reuse of open-access resources. Users are free to share (copy, distribute, and transmit) and remix (alter) the contribution for any reason, including commercial ones.

Option 2: Traditional Method. The author(s) (or their institution) choose not to publish their article as Open Access.  Costing no fee to publish their work, they sign a copyright transfer agreement to assign copyright to the sponsor of Biomaterials Translational—the Chinese Medical Association.
